“We loved being here and being the first guests! We are incredibly sad to leave and hope to come back someday soon! Thank you for your hospitality and warmth. Here are some of our favorite things from our time here: the maple heath bar ice cream at The Scoop, swimming, playing in your backyard, playing, Cookie Love, GetAir, the slack line, the sunsets, everything, even the rain.”

Fine Print
We are a busy family of five with a puppy! Our children and the puppy are all very friendly. We are often coming and going but we strive to minimize any disruption to your stay. As hosts, my husband JD and I will make ourselves as available as possible to you should you need us. If we will be away during any part of your stay, we will let you know in advance. A detailed house book will be made available to you.
NOISE
Guests have always said the space is very quiet, but we want you to be aware of potential noise.
👉 we are located in the center of a thriving farming community, so farm vehicles of all sizes will drive by our house at any hour—day or night (especially during hay harvesting!)
👉 we are located on a fairly busy corner—traffic to and from a ferry will increase the noise level in the backyard
👉 we have our pasture mowed weekly—the landscape crew comes early to mid morning
👉 at any given time (mostly in the summer or weekends), you might find my husband JD on his tractor out back, our children selling lemonade, friends or family over on our back deck, or any one of us working in the gardens
NUMBER OF GUESTS
The guest limit is five.
👉 it’s best for a combination of one couple with up to three children
👉 it’s unlikely to be comfortable for 3-5 individual adults, unless they’re all very close—it has been done!
PARKING AND DRIVING
We have plenty of parking in our driveway. It’s a short walk to a few amenities, but a vehicle will be necessary to explore beyond our small village.
👉 shared guest parking is available for up to two vehicles.
👉 complementary shared level 2 car charger—just let us know so we can be sure it’s available when you need it!
RULES
We try to keep our rules simple.
👉 we live on the property and we love our neighbors in close proximity to our house, so we don’t allow events (unless previously requested and approved)
👉 no pets, smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or firearms allowed anywhere on our property.
👉 for your own comfort, we recommend you remove shoes inside when there’s mud, snow, or rain outside
👉 most important: we want you to enjoy your stay!
UPON DEPARTURE
Just two things. We’ll take care of the rest!
👉 leave the two keys
👉 remember to collect all of your belongings
